On tap at the brewery in a plastic cup.
Orange-gold chill hazed beer with a small white head because they filled me all the way up. Looks to have lacing potential.
Aroma is soft, round fruit and citrus with a little malt and bitterness. Its softness before warming belies the flavor packed in. The nectarine gets more distinct and it gets a bit dank as it warms.
Chilly Hollow has a brewer who actually knows what a West Coast IPA is. Bitter citrus and melon blast up front moving to juicy fruit sweetness and then a strongly bitter finish.
The bitterness hits from beginning to end just like it should. Medium body with medium-low carbonation.
Yum, a bitter vibrantly hoppy IPA that harkens back to West Coast IPAs while using more recent hops to bring in different fruit characteristics.
