From the can, it pours a clear amber color with a modest off-white head that reduces to a 1/4 inch thick layer. Some lacing. Scent is malty with a touch of spice. Taste is malty with a bite of hops.

12 oz bottle in a lager glass. 15 Feb. 2016 bottling date.
Light copper body topped by a very good, durable, bone-colored head. Excellent lacing,
Relatively hoppy and bitter flavor.
Medium+ carbonation and body.

Came in a goblet a clear amber shade with a thinner but well sustained white head atop,a darker color than most of the style I have come across.Alcohol dipped fruits mainly in the nose, more boozy than what the "size" suggests. The fruity flavors are big on the palate as well,it's on the sweeter side for sure with more coming from caramel and alcohol, faint bread dough in the finish. Not really true to form in my opinion, not horrible but not something I would get again unless given to me.

Look: Pretty glass presentation with a translucent amber-gold color and an ample
+1 fingers of foam on top.
Smell: Perhaps a whiff of yeast, but largely a fruitish note that presents most
thoroughly.
Taste: A little opening sweetness (grape) and bite that carries through to a fairly clean
finish.
Feel: Somewhat prickly on the tongue.
Overall: Really not a lager fan per se, but this wasn't a bad pour. Enjoyed the
subtle sweetness. Would drink again.

3.09/5: Not the best maibock out there: peppery and boozy in the wrong ways
