Right up front, all I get is Kool-Aid powder, without the tartness or the sweetness to offset it. That said, like most "funky" or "weird" beers, the more you drink it, the more palatable it becomes. That said, I would not call this a "good" sour. The body and mouthfeel are fine, it's just that damn powder taste.

12 FL OZ can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass

This beer pours a murky rust color with some burnt orange highlights. It is topped with a fleeting tan head that leaves spotty lacing.

I seem to alternate between whiffs of raspberry and cherry. The lime is omnipresent.

It starts out with a sweet cherry flavor. Tart raspberry creeps in. The tartness of the raspberry is accentuated by the lime.

Medium bodied with a slightly dry mouthfeel

It exceeded my meager expectations.

Not sure if it tastes like the pop remember them just being corn starch and sugar but it does taste rather good. Smooth not too overbearing with the sour mostly cherry since it's fruit puree but I would drink it again because I love a good cherry ale!

Tastes like a cherry sour. Doesn’t taste at all like a bomb pop. Awesome package though.

The beer is exactly what it says it is but I think the Weldwerks rocket pop sour is just simply better in every way so I'd probably just seek that out again instead. This one is just lighter in every aspect.

Look: Pours a hazy pinkish shade of orange with a one finger off white head of foam. Good retention, minimal lacing.

Aroma: Not gonna lie - it smells exactly like one of those red white and blue popsicles. Strawberries, lemon and blueberry with a slight, very minor hint of floral hops way in the background

Taste: Okay this is pretty remarkable I have to admit, it tastes pretty much exactly like the popsicle. I'm getting tart italian lemon ice initially, followed by sweet raspberry + cherry midpalate. It ends on sweet and sour notes of blueberry ice and a dry, mild floral hop finish. Sour and sweetness is in perfect balance.

Feel: Bubbly and light, but not overtly so. 5.5% abv is not detectable. Not overtly sugary or saccharine.

Overall: This is a pretty unique experience, I happened to really enjoy it but it's probably not for everyone. It tastes exactly like a popsicle does so if that's not your type of thing beware. That being said it's actually extremely impressive how well they got the taste of a popsicle down, which is why I'm giving it very high marks.

12 ounce can, canned on 05/24/21. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a somewhat hazy golden/orange color with about an inch of so off-white head that stayed around a while. Decent amount of lacing. I like the fruity aroma, the brew smells like lime, raspberry, and sweet and tart cherries. The taste pretty much follows the aroma, but there's also some wheat/grainy malt flavors noticeable too. But overall it does smell and taste like a Rocket Pop! Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's slick, smooth and easy to drink with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this, it's a nice tart brew that's refreshing. Might have to pick up some more of this since I got this one on closeout for $5 or $6 a 6-pack, not really that old of a beer but apparently it didn't sell well at the store I bought this one at.

12 oz can pours a cloudly copper-peach color with off white head that dissapears quickly. Smell is fruity, sweet, and sour. Flavor follow the smell with notable cherry, raspberry, and lime flavors, like the popsicle it was inspired by. Mouthfeel is bubbly and you feel the sourness, but it's not over the top. Very refreshing beer.

12 oz can poured into a snifter. Perfect beer after a run on a hot day - tart raspberry, lime, and cherry with just a hint of something sweet like marshmallow.

Color is deep copper with no head or lacing. Nose is sour :)Taste is more sweet than sour, however the sour is certainly there. Good for a sour, would be great after mowing.

Once the Germans gave us permission to put fruit flavorings in sour ale, all bets are off. Fast forward two hundred years and we're reaching for cherry, raspberry and lime then piling them on high to cleanly soured beer and call it a rocket pop. Has there ever been a more by-God American beer?

Deep gold with a hint of orange and amber, Lil' Sour Me America releases an ivory column of froth before gracing the nose with those citrusy, pitted fruit and dark berry aromas in a tantalizing squeeze box fruity scents. With a simple sweetness greeting the tongue, a sense of taffy, fruit cola and melted freeze pops in an off-malty start.

The fruits blossom on the middle palate with a well-balanced cherry, raspberry and lime combination that further reinfoces those Rocket popsicle flavors that's then backed with a growing sense of sourness. Clean, lactic and playfully acidic, the beer's sour focus overshadows the fruits in a finish that's clean, refreshing and crisp.

Light in body, the beer's simplicity comes at the sacrifice of complexity or more common ale flavor, but it also allows the character of melted popsicle to shine in a quick finish and a fast-fleeting aftertaste of squeezebox with sangria.
