Its a nice cloudy gold, bordering amber, opaque but not too thick. Dominant smell is piney, although juicy. Its crisp, sharp, and dank. less citrusy than the majority of HIPAs Ive had. Pungent, musty if not bitter, but not offensive and still quite tasty. A good one for just sipping with some salty snacks.

Pivot is a very dark, opaque amber color with a very thin head atop. The smell is a balance of earthy hop tones, and some more floral notes. The taste leads with some citrus and ends with a more hop-centric feel. It's fairly easy-drinking for. double IPA with 8.5 percent.
