Introducing our sour spin on a cherished classic. This masterful sour stays true to its roots, infusing pure lime purée and zesty ginger, which intermingle with subtle aromas of rum wood aging. One recommendation? Top off your pour with a slice of lime to capture the essence of the OG.

16 ounce can poured into a tulip glass. No canning info given.
L---Dark brown with what, I swear, seems to be yellowish green edges. Medium sized head faded quickly down to a cap and left minimal lacing.
S---They advertise ginger and lime and they're there. Also a vague spiciness, perhaps from the ginger.
T---Ginger, lime and then a lingering finish of ginger. That vague spiciness has also followed from the nose.
F---Much lighter than it looks. Fairly light carbonation. Minimal sour pucker.
O---A nice sour. They hit their target here.

Notes via stream of consciousness: "ALE BREWED WITH GINGER & LIME". Where's the rum flavoring? Let's see how they did. It's poured a clear, dark mahogany brown body that fits with a dark & stormy, and it kind of fizzes like a soda. interesting. The aroma also gives off a sweetness with some caramel, ginger, and lime. I'd say that's pretty nicely done so far. It looks like a dark & stormy, and it smells like a dark & stormy, but does it taste like a dark & stormy? Well, yes and no. It's got a sourness that's a little bit more than you find in a dark & stormy but this is a sour beer, is it not? On the other hand if it had a little more sweet malt to it it might be a perfect match, but let's just look at it as it is. I initially get caramel and ginger and then the lime comes in. Both the ginger and lime are completely authentic and I appreciate that they've avoided using flavorings. It's got little bitternes but none is needed as it's got both acidity and the spiciness of the ginger. It finishes dry with the lime lingering shortly and ginger much longer. In the mouth it's light-medium in body and gently crisp. The head fell fairly shortly after pouring and there's no lacing left behind but I can forgive that as it is a sour beer and that's at least somewhat to be expected. Overall I'm pretty impressed. It truly has the characteristics of a dark & stormy, and it's both satiating and refreshing.

Canned 1/31/22
This is probably the weirdest entry I’ve seen yet in the Sour Me series, a Dark ‘N Stormy inspired sour with ginger and lime. I’ve had these mule cocktail-inspired beers a few times before, but none have really been that great. Let’s see what this one is all about
Pours a cloudy brownish maroon with 2 fingers of light tan head that fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing
The ginger dominates in the nose, but it’s actually nicely done. I’m picking up on aromas shaved ginger, lime zest, bready malt, peppery hops, coriander, and a touch of wheat
It’s a bit less snappy in taste, but still quite enjoyable. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting lime juice, sweet ginger, crackery malt, and light white pepper. The swallow brings notes of shaved ginger, lime zest, bready malt, and lemon juice
A light medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a crisp and zesty beer. Finishes mostly dry and tart
This was executed wonderfully. Super refreshing and light but just out there enough to be interesting

Purchased in a 4 pack under$10. Pours a reddish brown, (like root beer), with a finger high head that dissipates quickly, some light lacing. Has a sweet ginger/juicy aroma has very thin body where the color might suggest otherwise. Taste is salty/tart and closer to a gose than a sour in my estimation. Added a lime wedge to it which brought out the sourness and also caused the spiciness of the ginger to come forward. The feel was more like a seltzer than an ale but was refreshing none the less. Would probably appreciate this more when it's a little bit warmer outside and not the end of winter.

Brown colored and clear (light shines through). Very little head -- only a few minor spots on the glass.
Lots of ginger to the nose. Think Canada Dry.
Semisweet. Ginger dominates. Light carbonation but the body is equally thin. There are darker elements that are difficult to describe as they don't have the typical chocolate or toast flavors. The finish is the only sour item and I would describe it as a spice. Overall, this is an interesting and literal ginger ale.
