L: Pours a dark golden color with a very rocky foamy head and thick lacing on the glass.
S: Aroma starts quite piney and then leads to sweet sugary tropical fruit. Smells nice but aroma kinda all blends together.
T: Some sweet tropical fruit followed by notes of lime and then a strong piney bitterness, overall a nice IPA but not groundbreaking.
F: Medium body, good carbonation.
O: A nice IPA but doesn't do enough to stand out in a crowded field.

Had it from a can at World Of Beer UCF (Go Knights!). This is an excellent West Coast IPA. Loved the nose, the color, the flavor. A very nice malt background and outstanding hops. Would love to have this one as a regular. I hope they keep making it!

Appearance - Pours a rusty copper with four fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - piney, citrus, earthy, leafy, floral, and weedy hops, pine resin, grapefruit and citrus peel, bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold piney, citrus, earthy, leafy, floral, and weedy hops upfront. The pine resin, grapefruit and citrus peel come through next. The bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the hops, malts, pine resin, and grapefruit peel lingering.
Overall - A pleasant tipple of a West coast IPA. This one truly delivers on all cylinders and should be seeked if you're into the the classic West coast IPAs.

Notes via stream of consciousness: There's a good amount of carbonation to this and I can see what are possibly thousands of very tiny bubbles rising steadily within its lightly hazy amber body. The off-white head initially rose up to an inch and a half or more but has since settled down to a creamy inch or so. The aroma is citrusy and piney with notes of orange, nectarine, and grapefruit over a sweetish, bready, and lightly caramelish malt base. On to the taste... as is quite often the case it tastes like it smells. It's of course brighter and fuller, but mostly the same. The maltiness is exactly the same, and an additional note of sweet red berries really rounds it out. There's also some papaya, flowers, and black tea. It's solidly bitter and it finishes dry with the fruit fading quickly, making rooms for the floral notes, and then finally a good amount of lingering bitterness, pine, and dusty earthiness. In the mouth it's medium bodied with a gentle caress of carbonation that leaves it creamy and smooth. The head held exceptionally well and I still have a solid cap of creamy foam beneath an almost solid wall of lacing that rises all the way up to where the head first formed. I honestly wasn't expecting this to be as good as it is but I'm always willing to be wrong - this is an excellent west coast IPA that shouldn't be ignored.
