nice mellow ipa, bought at the local Michigan Kroger for a discount price of $5/ sixer. enjoyed each drop, would purchase again. I'm surprised by the low price, must have been some kind of overstock.

From the bottom of the can: "RELAX-08-011322 CANNED ON 02/24/2022"
Appearance: The body looks mostly clear but there is the slightest haze. The body is a pretty, medium shade of gold. It has a medium-sized fluffy white head that has good retention and leaves nice spots of lacing. It is a very good looking beer.
Aroma: There is a light malt aroma that smells like beer that has been left in a glass. There is also a very faint pine hop aroma. Not much aroma overall.
Taste: There is a light pine flavor mixed with some light candied orange up front. Towards the middle there is some lime and a touch of grapefruit. It finishes with an herbal note and lime.
Mouthfeel: It rests on the upper edge of light-bodied with good bitterness and a nice dry finish. It is a very satisfying beer to drink.
Overall: The can advertises this as a "SESSION IPA" with the included hops of "Motueka Lemondrop Sultana Simcoe." The hops seem to work nicely together, with mostly a pine and lime character. For a Session IPA it does a good job texture and flavor-wise, although the can states that it is "4.8% ALC/VOL" which is on the higher end of the spectrum when it comes to a session beer. There isn't much aroma but overall the beer is enjoyable. I would pick it up again from time to time and it is good enough to recommend. It would be a good beer to mix in a cooler with a few others during a picnic or camping trip.
