From the bottom of the can: "LOW-02-013122 CANNED ON 03/03/22"
Appearance: The body of the beer is a pale straw color that has extremely good clarity. It has a short white head with a light fluffiness to it. The head is short but it retains well. Loos slips of lacing.
Aroma: It has a mild tropical fruit aroma which smells a bit like mango and papaya. The aroma is nice but very mild.
Taste: Up front there is this tropical flavor which tastes like papaya. Towards the middle of the mouth there is a pleasant grain flavor. There is a light pear and white grape character towards the back of the mouth.
Mouthfeel: It is very light bodied with a wet finish. Carbonation feels nice. There is just a light bit of tartness to the beer. It is pretty refreshing.
Overall: The can states that this is a "low calorie WHEAT ALE with pineapple flavor" and that it has "95 CALORIES." The wheat character comes through on the flavor quite nicely but the pineapple flavor tastes more like other tropical fruit, and even come across as a bit pear and grape-like. The beer as a whole is pretty good for a low calorie beer. The wheat is nice and there are some fruity notes. It isn't a beer I would buy often but I could drink it again. It isn't something I would recommend for or against, but it could be a good option for people who are looking for a lower-ABV beer or want something lighter in calories.
