Sour ale with pineapple and lime gummy candy flavors.

Deliciously flavorful and fun, this sour ale blends a medley of sweet fruit notes with a tropical sour bite for a beer as delightful as our favorite candy snack.

Pours golden in color. Head was white like bleached flour, but it faded quickly. Lots of carbonation that I find is normal for sours. Nose was like graham cracker crust. Taste e was slightly sour, but like nose I got a graham cracker flavor. Back of throat was clean, white pepper finish.

Gummies are all the rage nowadays, however DuClaw steers clear of the high of most trendier gummies and opts for the alcohol version instead. Laced with pineapple and lime flavor, their gummy accented sour ale is a fun for the tastebuds as it is for the spirits.s

Cast in a diffused golden glow, Sour Me Gummy Bear floats a creamy white cap along with a tangy and fruity scent of spritzer, wine, cider, tropical fruit and citrus. As its low level sweetness skirts the tongue, hints of taffy, sourdough and gummy candies all come to mind.

Fruity with lemon, lime, green apple, white grape, gooseberry, kiwi and pineapple, the fruit cocktail that settles on the middle palate is tangy and sherbet-like with a tartness of cider and wine. As the thirst quenching ale washes the late palate with acidity, a clean, dry and refreshing sourness erases all thirst with ease.

Light, crisp and succinct in taste, the clean lactic acids leave a light, thin and somewhat watery character on the finish as its cleanness leads to an overly simplistic taste and texture. It's a nice beer but fairly basic in the Sour Me portfolio.
