12 oz can served in a Belgian snifter.

Good aroma but the flavor is still better. Chocolate, peanuts, raspberry, and the base porter mix together well with each having about the same strength.

Pours clear, dark brown in color with one third inch head. Taste is peanut butter, roasted malt, currant, and raspberry. Medium light body, medium low carbonation, roasty. Not bad but not better than the original. I get all the elements but am still left wanting more.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of raspberries, light peanut butter. Taste follows the aroma, light chocolate as well. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Nice variant of your typical sweet baby Jesus I believe that the raspberry takes away some of the harsh bitterness from the roast of the porter and also some of the dry bitterness of the peanut butter. While not my favorite raspberry Porter it went down easy enough and I would probably grab another if inclined.

Pours a dark amber brown. Tan foam. PB and raz aroma. Big raspberry body. Light pb flavor with a smokey chocolate finish. Could be heavier on the pb. I think this would have been better as a sweet stout. Decent flavor. Worth a taste.

This starts with two twelve ounce cans being emptied into a clear glass liter mug. At room temperature, there's plenty of tan foam. The liquid is just a bit lighter than black coffee brown. The foam recedes slowly and evenly. Certainly, there's a raspberry inclusion in the aroma. That's impressive, because peanuts and peanut butter have a way of overpowering the nose. To taste, this will have you wishing for just a little more peanut butter, at least to match the expectations given by the label. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich is first, a peanut butter sandwich. The jelly, is there to add some sweetness and the bread, to add some starchiness. They're tag alongs. This is noteworthy because the dark chocolate and raspberry actually outdo the peanut butter. Other than that, the balance is good, the mouthfeel is good, the taste is good, but there's nothing great here that a little more peanut butter flavor couldn't have helped.

Sweet and sassy enough to make you want to smack your lips, DuClaw comes out screaming with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich inspired porter.

Dark brown and floating a creamy off-white cap, Sweet Baby PB&J! reels in the nose with a toasty, roasty melange of coffee and chocolate with the overcast of raspberry jam. Sweet in taste, the early palate is caramelized with the bold flavors of chocolate, jam and light toffee.

As the ale washes the palate with berry fruitiness, chocolate and toast, the flavors of peanut butter come charging with nuttiness, creaminess and light buttery character. As the tanginess of berry persists past the sweetness and links up with a broad and woodsy hop bitterness that has the session steering in a coffee-like direction.

Medium-full in body, the robust taste of the beer has the senses wanting a richer body. But its somewhat drinkable backbone keeps things mild, mellow and soothing, right down to a creamy and bittersweet, tangy aftertaste.
