I had this at Max's, served in a sample glass.
Appearance: Pours an opaque dark brown with a layer of off white head that disappears completely.
Smell: Very herbal with a strong tea presence. Mild roast, just a bit sweet.
Taste: The tea definitely takes over the taste. Mildly roasty with a slight sweetness. The finish is quite bitter with herbal from the tea.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with no real carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall: The tea overpowered the flavor but I enjoyed the beer. Very interesting and I'm glad Duclaw tried it.
