Copenhagen 7/11 2025. 75 cl bottle from DrikBeer web-shop. Light blue label with minuscule stars with the name of the beer in big letters.
Pours unclear, golden amber with a mid-sized white head, Stable. Settles as a 0,3 cm thick ayer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of roasted malts mingling with a bit of citrus fruit Sweet caramel, toasted bread and brown sugar. Citrus and lemon. Tart gooseberries.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, slightly viscous, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Afteste is bitter. Lingering. Finish is rather dry.
A quite bitter nd a bit citric White Stout - and mercifully restrained when it comes to the Tonka beans.
