Served in straight pint glass. Poured a clean, clear red-amber color with 1/2 inch of light tan head that had moderate retention and very light lacing.
The aroma had a solid malt base, and a nice dose citrus and floral hops. On the tongue, The hops had a much bolder and brighter presence, with the malt playing more of a background role.
The body was solidly medium and smooth, with a finish that was just a bit tangy and dry. Drinkability was good, it was a quickly disappearing pint. Overall, a very nice brew, and one that's worth trying during fresh hop season.
