Served in straight pint glass. Poured a lightly cloudy medium gold ( not the white-ish yellow of most Wits) with about 1/4 inch of white head that had low-moderate retention and light lacing.

The aroma was mostly grains, with very little of the expected Wit characteristics, a low yeast scent, and a mild tartness. On the tongue though, the beer really showed it's true personality. Tart, just short of sour at the front, some nice earthy grains in the middle, and a dry, lightly sour hit at the back.

The body was pretty typical for a Wit, perhaps just a touch fuller than average. Drinkability was very good, the beer went down quickly and easily. Overall, a very nice sour brew. Don't approach it as a Wit, just bask in the tartness.
