This ale comes on late, at the finish, and it’s worth the wait. Near amber in color, medium airy head. Aroma of light hops, very faint. Taste brings the hops to the fore, competing with the malt, but kicks in in spades at the finish. well crafted ale.

Pleasantly sudsy in the mouth. Tall foam with excellent retention in the Gulpener tulip. Aromatic with flowery hops and a piney note. Frothy, light body.
Light malt with a Grapefruit is the hop flavor here. Quite bitter with the pithy grapefruit sensation taking over. Some fruity notes with a hint of apple skins. Straw and a touch of honeysuckle in the aromatics. Endless bitter aftertaste.
For the hop fiend, this has a lot to offer. But it's more like a lower-alcohol IPA. One of the bitterest Oregon brews I've encountered. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Central Market - Shoreline in north Seattle.

22 oz bottle from"Lifesource" in Salem Oregon. $4.99 Deep golden coloured ale, with a large frothy, cream coloured head. Strong citric and pine/spruce aromas, also getting oranges and melon..quite nice. Very smooth almost creamy taste well balanced hop and malt with some spices..really nice stuff. Great creamy thick mouth feel..low carbonation. Unexpected great beer here.
