Poured from a 22oz bottle into a spieglau wheat glass.
Look is a hazy yellow amber with a thick head that dissipates quickly. Very hazy.
Aroma is bubble gum and clove, classic hefewiezen.
Mouth feel is a little thin, but flavor is all there. Spicy and dry wheat.

From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Haggen Food in Burlington, Wash.
This is surprisingly sharp and acidic. Watery body. Quite strong clove in the nose.
Also surprisingly dry. The sweetness and malt seem to have been fermented out of this. It might be fine for the post-lawn mowing gulp, but it lacks that balance of sweet and tanginess that marks a good Hefeweizen.
This is not one of my favorite examples. Color is an attractive dark amber in the tall Timmermans goblet with plenty of foam.

Cloudy gold with three fingers of slightly off white head. Good retention and good amount of lace.
Smell is banana and clove on the light side.
Taste is similar to the smell. Just enough hop bitterness to balance.
Mouthfeel is medium with passable carbonation. Lightly dry finish.
Overall a decent Heffe. Compares well with other Northwest versions.
Probably drank this a bit too cold. Will edit if more flavors come out when it warms.

It's been awhile since I've had a good hefe and I love most of Laurelwood's stuff, but I was a little disappointed. Poured from a 22oz bottle into a pint glass with a hazy amber and head with some lacing. Smell was kind of medicine-like with some earthiness. My initial taste was also a bit mediciney, but as it sat on my palate I enjoyed more of it's citrus and and complex flavors. Also a little salty? I did enjoy its mouthfeel. Smooth with just the right amount of carbonation for a refreshing hefe. Overall ok, but I expected more from Laurelwood.

22 oz bottle bought from Roth’s Sunnyslope Market in S.Salem. $4.99 Pours a nice cloudy lighter orange colour with a large off white frothy bubbly head..that lasts about 5 mins but leaves copious lace down the glass. Aroma mainly slight aromas of clove, banana and a bit of earth. Taste similar to the aromas but with a noticeable saltiness..which i liked but is out of place for style. Strange. Mouthfeel is pretty nice with a drying finish. Overall a nice beer but not a great hefe..still puzzled by the saltiness..
