Wow, another picture of a bottle I have never seen,.. grabbed a pull at the 2009 PIB... what can I say.. a great IPA..
- Slightly cloudy copper-yellow IPA with a wonderful bubbly white head and big bubbles..
- Some citrus hop smell with a touch of pine, caramel, and some very wonderful bread notes and yeast... complex..
- Smooth sailing bready caramel sweet hop nectar citrus smoothie... a great all around west coast IPA flavor, and is really something different than their Workhorse. Great yeast and bread notes with a wonderful citrus hop aroma and flavor...
- Slightly chewy, a touch dry, but a nectar of the gods... smooth, and clean.. and wonderfully balanced...
- This I could drop 2 growlers of without a problem... a fantastic IPA that should set the standard for a west coast IPA.

Like hops? You're in the right place. Green Elephant has a turbo hop aroma that leaps in cartwheels off the glass. And the verdant hop flavor is full metal jacket. The beer is copper with light suds and is offered as a summer seasonal.
Balanced? Not exactly. The beer actually leans too far in the hops direction for my tastes and is less preferable to the award winning Workhorse or the retired Boss IPA. But if you're a mainline hops user Green Elephant may be your drug of choice.
