I had this beer on-tap at Special Brews in Lynnwood, WA. I believe this is a different beer than the Laurelfestbier brewed several years ago.
Appearance: light golden hue with a dash of haze, a good effervescence and a finger of frothy white foam. Lighter than a normal Oktoberfest, but other than that not bad.
Smell: aroma is quite light. There's a nice malty sweetness along with a toasty graininess, but overall the volume could be turned way up.
Taste: lightly sweet and almost fruity with a dash of graininess and a definite Oktoberfest autumnal feel. Not bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a good creaminess, especially for the style. I dig it.
Overall: not at all bad. Quite drinkable, if a little on the sweet side for the style.
