This was another beer that I picked up recently at the Total Wine in Woodbridge, Virginia as I never had anything from Honor before. Love how this was veteran owned as it turned out to be a fitting beer for the dog days of summer.

No surprise that this was golden, a bit hazy, and topped off with more than enough bubbly head. Once that settled, there wasn't any lacing to be seen except for a few traces of a collar near the top of my pint glass. Loads of blueberry and fruit patch in the muted nose with some heavier raspberry underneath that, as the taste was just as fruity and weighted. Didn't really taste the lemon or the wheat, as the latter was there more in body than anything else.

This was canned on 4/24 with "In tribute to SGT David Coullard" written below that, as it held up well over the last four months and change. Plenty light in taste and moderate in body, this wasn't a bad beer but needed a bit more wheat and variance in flavor for me to rate any higher on here. For a warm day out and about, this would hit the spot just fine!

This is a 16oz can purchased in cold storage. From the bottom of the can: "In tribute to SGT Paul Dumont Canned on 03/12/25"

Appearance: It has a medium-light gold body. There are no visible suspended solids but there is a light haze to the beer. It has a short fluffy white head and it retains a short cap of foam. No real lacing.

Aroma: It immediately smells like blueberries when pouring the beer. Getting closer, it has notes of blueberry jelly, raspberry jam, and a light lemon zest aroma.

Taste: It starts out with a blueberry flavor, then it moves into a light and pleasant cream of wheat flavor.

Mouthfeel: It is on the lighter side and very drinkable. The bitterness and tartness levels on the beer are very low which also helps with drinkability. It has a bit of texture which is similar to a lot of American Wheat Beers that seek to challenge American Light Lagers, giving it just a bit of an edge.

Overall: The label states that this is a "BLUEBERRY LEMON WHEAT BEER" and it certainly delivers everything it's advertising. The lemon character is interesting because it is noticeable in the aroma even though the blueberry character is so strong. The wheat is pretty light in both flavor and texture but it adds just enough to give it some flavor and character without bogging down the mouthfeel. This results in something that is light and drinkable. This would be a good beer to bring on a camping trip or somewhere outdoors. The blueberry is a bit strong for my personal tastes but I could drink it again and it would work well if tossed into a cooler with a variety of other beers. A person who loves blueberry flavor will really enjoy this.

Standard mouthfeel for a wheat. Decent taste, weirdly fruity but good. I’d drink again.
