Not a bad Pumpkin Ale. Poured from a16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer features an almost clear dark amber color and a small, bubbly white head that fades fast with no lacing. Aroma and taste are mostly pumpkin spices but the flavor includes a generous amount of maltiness that keeps the pumpkin spices from seeming artificial and annoying. Mouthfeel is smooth and moderately rich, goes down easy. A pleasant autumn brew.

Taster at brewery:
Dingy brown with an orange hue, very modest head. Nice pumpkin spice aroma, but not getting much else. Opening has a balanced malt and pumpkin spice flavor, but it turns way too earthy pretty quickly. Tingly and out-of-date spice feel - this one lacks a body and malt backbone to hold up to the spices, in my opinion.

From the pint can, it pours a slightly hazy brown with orange highlights and an off-white head that slowly reduces. The nose gets pumpkin pie spice (and pumpkin). The mouth follows with burnt malts coming through and a modest lingering taste of same.
