Taster at brewery:
Clear dark amber color with an off white head, some lacing. Nose includes toasted bread along with some white raisin-like notes and a hint of minerality.
Clean feel with a lightly toasted malt flavor, followed by that mineral note. Nicely balanced, with a spike of sweet and a neutral to slightly bitter finish. Little less sweet than I’d expect given the mass produced versions, but that’s fine with me.
