One of the best, flavorful craft porters when it originally came to Kansas way back years ago but when FD expanded from Colorado plus Maryland & then abandoned CO, nothing FD seems to be as tasty?

Those brown and dark red colors. Off white head 1/2". A lot more roast in the nose than I saw coming.
Taste, still more roast, coffee from the malt flavors. Nutty, caramel, toffee, coffee. Hopping is there too. A little dry finish. Not bad stuff. Assertive and bitter with all that other stuff going on. There's a bit of a scotch ale vibe going on underneath it all as well.
