Black color. Medium-sized, tan head. The aroma of roasted malt and milk chocolate. Same notes in flavor. Sweet in taste with moderate, roasted bitterness at the end.

12 oz bottle with an April 2017 BB date stamp.
Pours opaque black-brown with a short tan head that soon reduces to a thin but durable top coat.
Aroma: gives me a 2-stage set of aromatics. Initially slightly sour and dank, but then brighter with caramel, dark bread and faint spices.
Flavor: Dark bread with hints of licorice, lactose, vanilla, molasses, brown sugar, Mild woody dry hop finish. Very good (light) sweetness for style and character.
Full body; creamy smooth; soft, medium carbonation.
Overall: not strong but it has plenty of flavor. Exceptionally well hidden alcohol.

Enjoy by 4/8/17. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours almost black with a small khaki head that fades leaving solid retention and decent lacing. The aromas are malt forward. There's a nice amount of smoke. Hints of cocoa along with some subtle hints graham cracker. The flavors are clean. More hints of cocoa and milk chocolate. Some fresh milk notes. Mild hints of smoke. It's not too sweet and even has a touch of bitterness. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium-bodied with very active carbonation. It's pretty thin, but smooth and easy to drink.
This is a solid stout. It's nothing crazy or unique, but it's ultimately nice and enjoyable.

Black with 1 finger tan head that quickly disappears. Aroma is very roasty and some coffee. Taste - Now this is a really nicely balance stout. Not nearly as sweet as other milk stouts I've had, this one really blends nicely with roast, hops, lactose and chocolate. No coffee like I picked up in the aroma. FOr 7.2%, the body is a touch thin but acceptable. Overall I find this to be quite the enjoyable stout. Satisfying right in that middle ground.
