Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a semi-murky yellow color with a super subtle transparency about it. Lots of foamy white head roaming all about in a rocky messy way. Softly dissipated to leave semi-thick foamy messy lace.
The aroma had some grassy hop spice rolling into some hop oils, grapefruit peel and a subtle sweet "iced onion" character lying low.
The flavor seemed to blend fairly well between the sweet and semi-spicy tones. All of the aromas seemed to carry in. Mellow aftertaste of grassy hop spice and grapefruit peel.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionable quality to it. Carbonation felt fine. Nice enough grip on my tongue. Finishes with the grassy hop spice and grapefruit peel.
Overall,I'd say a pretty nicely done APA borderline New England one and worthy of coming back to.
