Enjoy by 6/15/20. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours golden with a subtle haze; small white head that fades leaving nice retention and lacing. The aromas are on the mild side. Lots of crackers and fresh bread leading the way. Mild hints of vanilla and caramel. Lots of malts. Not much cinnamon going on in the aroma department at first, but it starts to pop as it warms a bit. The flavors are a little bolder than the nose. More bread and crackers. More hints of vanilla and caramel. The cinnamon is more noticeable in the flavor department, but it's balanced and doesn't dominate. Some honey in the mix. Some earthy notes. It's not that bitter or sweet. Malts do their thing. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, spritzy, crisp, slightly fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a solid brew. Balance is the key with this one. It's basically what you would expect from a blonde ale brewed with cinnamon and vanilla. Not bad at all. I like it.

Poured from the bottle into a Flying Dog Goblet.

Classic amber looking, a bit darker than a typical blonde ale but with a somewhat hazy orange body, and a nice small creamy one finger topped bright white head.

Well this aroma is interesting. A good hit of cinnamon and vanilla, definitely giving off a powdered toast vibe without question. There's a small touch of simple caramel but there's also a little bit of bile on this hinting as well unfortunately. It does smell pretty good and neat regardless.

Palate is a good simple romp. Light bodied with a good spicy cinammon flavor at first that doesn't burn. Mid palate gets nicely sweet with light touches of honey, and maybe a drop of hinting maple like syrup. Finishes with a real good powdered toasty breath of air, and sweet soft vanilla in the mix as well. Decent body and light refreshing feel.

This could have been a real disaster. I was hoping this wasn't going to be overly sweet but luckily it isn't, and it's actually very balanced. Very fun and enjoyable, what a beer like this should be, and for a style I normally don't get along with too often. Good stuff this needs to be made again someday.
