Poured from the bottle into a Flying Dog goblet. Consume before June 15th 2020 for optimal freshness.

Very crystal clear body color, with a real nice amber that has quite a good orange/reddish color to it. Head is a fluffy off white color, making two finger with a little bit of staying power. All around nice looking solid beer.

Aroma does not lie. Straight up bloody mary mix on the nose, hints of clamato/tomato and a touch of black pepper. Comes off as expected, kind of commercial smelling than anything really exotic aroma of nice peppers. There's not much sense of lime in this either. However, truly smells like a bloody mary.

Palate does not lie. First sip is a good simple malt backbone that makes its presence later. Big touch of tomato like juice flavor followed by a supper peppery swallow. The finish grows large with hits of real hot pepper and quick heat that grows bigger. Very mouthwatering hits of pepper, and a faint touch of caramel malt just barely squeeks out. Red vegetable juice and heat explodes off this thing, as there is quite a good solid burn in the aftertaste, but tolerable. Subsequent sips make for more sweeter flavors as the palate gets accustomed to the tastes.

Without question tastes like a bloody mary, just missing some of the celery and lime qualities. Also quite a good peppery kick just like one, not for the faint of heart either.
