Enjoy by 4/15/21. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours almost black; creamy khaki head that falls slowly leaving great thick retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a decent amount of raspberry leading the way. Hints of cocoa and vanilla. Lots of malts. The flavors are subtle and balanced. More raspberries mildly leading the way. More hints of cocoa and vanilla. Subtle sweetness. Low bitterness. Solid malt backbone. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's soft, fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a decent milk stout. The raspberries are balanced but are still the focal point. It might not be the craziest milk stout ever, but it's enjoyable.
