Two inflammatory words...one wild drink. Nectar imprisoned in a bottle. An anything-but-delicate blend of sharp hoppiness and fruity aroma, this beer is a life-changing backyard knife-fight for your palate. Once you’ve had a Raging Bitch, everything else pales in comparison. Fermented with a volcano-like Belgian yeast strain called “El Diablo,” Raging Bitch earned its polarizing name from the aggressively active nature of the yeast—unleashed, untamed, unbridled...and in heat. Enjoy its golden glow and white foaming head alongside bold flavors like spicy BBQ wings, blue cheese salads, or that bag of family-sized Cool Ranch Doritos you’re going to destroy later while binge-watching Netflix.

Clear orange amber, good head retention and excellent lacing. Big yeasty, hoppy aroma. Cloves and luscious fruit on the palate, finishing with piney hops and a decent amount of bitterness. Substantial mouthfeel without being too heavy. This beer was a revelation back in the day. Still pretty damn tasty.

(review from May 2017) Wonderfully tasty Belgian with hoppy, grapefruity goodness and a light heft on the tongue. Sure wish we could still get Flying Dog in Kansas!

Look: clear amber with a creamy head
Smell: pine resin, spicy, bubblegum, clove
Taste: pine needles, melon, spice, fruity, grapefruit, orange
Feel: med body, moderate carbo,
Overall: 8.3% abv. This Belgian IPA delivered qualities I like, pine, spice, and grapefruit. Add in some fruity notes with a dry finish and you got yourself a tasty little bitch. Pair her up with Smack My Bitch Up by The Prodigy and enjoy the intensity.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass.
Nice foamy off white head, gold/amber color. Clarity and head retention is high, nice lacing all the way to the bottom of the glass.
The caramelized barley malt is toasted nicely, the dominant flavor is sweet and tangy yet somewhat fruity. Stone fruit, sweet/crisp apple, sweet citrus and notes and apricot come to mind. Hints of bubblegum as well.
The hops bitterness is pleasant, but a little obscured by the residual and lingering sweetness. The balance is off, but that’s somewhat par for the course with Belgian brews.
The 8.3 ABV is well masked by the flavor cornucopia, this one could sneak up on you if you like to bend your elbow.
I don’t recall the last time I had. Belgian IPA, but this is a good one.

Pours a clear amber with soft, fluffy head.
Smell is crisp, fruity and a bit spicy. Notes of grapefruit, pine, yeast, dried fruit and pepper.
Taste is crisp and fruity with soft yeastiness and a powerful bitterness. Notes of grapefruit, pine, pepper, dried fruit and Candi sugar.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a great Belgian IPA, sort of the American Houblon Chouffe.
