We have a saying here at Flying Dog ... When life gives you oranges, squeeze them until they’re dry, then add a bunch of alcohol.
Inspired by the Maryland Shore’s most beloved beach cocktail, this one hits you with a wave of bright orange, then carries you off to sea with a subtle, sweet, citrusy, dry finish. So tighten up those swim trunks, 'cuz you're about to ride a Tsunami of Citrus.

Pour had a fizzling and quickly receding off white foam head with a pale orange to straw-ish color with minor effervescence and particulate. The scent is, wait for it, quite orange dominated with both acidic and sweet notes of orange evident. Taste matches the scent, with a wheaty orange up front and a sweeter orange on the backside (with just a touch alcohol sugar lingering). Feel is on the light side, almost flat, with a pleasant lighter orange aftertaste. In many ways it reminds me of a much more orange blue moon: approachable, low bitterness, and good in this warming spring weather.
