Draft pour into a 16 oz. can glass.

Deep gold, consistently hazy, foamy white head with decent retention. Light nose, clean and orange-like, some wheat. Taste is clean as well, wheat and a touch of fruitiness. Well carbonated, mainly crisp over a slightly creamy medium weight body. Seems solid for style.

Thank you Flying Dog for releasing a real beer for beer drinkers that is well crafted with no gimmicks. This is a great light wheat ale perfect for a summer mix. Has a nice grain bill with sweetness and a subtle touch of lemon zest. Silky mouthfeel. Overall I highly recommend. Hopefully Flying Dog comes back around to releasing new beers that don’t have hot peppers or Oreo crumbs in the beer. They can make good beers if they stick to their roots of making solid beers across the styles and not chase the adjunct trends.

Poured from the bottle into a Flying Dog goblet glass.

Minimal head creation, maybe just over a finger and a good white appearance. Head is a little creamy in consistency but doesn't last very long as it slowly settles. Body color manages a slightly dull muted dark yellow to very light brown tinged appearance.

Kind of a nice unique aroma. Sensing a touch of wheat like chew, a bit of sweetness on malt, and a good mild sensing mix of tropical and citrus fruit hop notes. Beer hints at a little bit of density as well perhaps.

Palate seems to go for basics. Solid simple mouthfeel, with less of an anticipated depth than expected. Chewy mid palate of light malt and some interesting cookie like sweetness to mix. Excellent aftertaste with a real nice pleasure of hop hinting fruity orange and some lemon mixing sweetness as well, in an American hop vein.

Good solid take on a refreshing style.

Slightly hazed golden appearance with an average size white head and modest lacing. Pleasant bready aroma paired with citrus and tropical fruit. Nicely balanced moderately sweet wheat flavor while the citrus and fruit stay firmly in place. Crisp, smooth, almost lush, mouthfeel.
