Looks like I liked this less than the other reviewers!!! The main problem was an annoying aftertaste, either vegetable or a combination of vegetable and metallic. First thing I checked was the freshness date and that was OK. Just me and the beer!!!! Pours a hazy gold with a fast-fading white head and minimal lacing, Aroma was somewhat bitter and mostly citrus/grapefruit. Taste started out similar, although a little too sweet. Then the bad flavor kicked in. Not enough to ruin the beer, but pronounced enough where I didn't enjoy it as much!!!! Mouthfeel was fine, fairly rich and some bitterness. My problem was in the taste.

Absolutely wonderful! Smooth taste for a beer with 10% alcohol! Highly recommend.

Poured into a small goblet: color is slightly hazy gold, head is off white and presents 1 finger thick then dissipates to ring on the glass, no lacing.
Smell is slightly sweet, citrus rind, light pepperiness, zesty lime, some light honey, hint of biscuit malt but a sweeter aroma which could be from some booziness.
Taste is sweet with similar notes to the aroma - citrus, pepperiness, lime, honey, piney resinous, some apricot, malt is light honey and some biscuit, proably some boozy esters interplaying with the sweet and pepperiness.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate/strong sweetness, moderate/strong bitterness, lingering bite and pepperiness on the tongue, slow boozy dryness.
Overall a big slightly hazy DIPA - equal parts hazy and traditional big/imperial DIPA which work in its favor - hopping is not overly tropical or citrusy or piney - it hits the middle spot well.

like this brewery; wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. but this is not so great & not an 89 in my book. best by 9/29/21, consumed 7/23/21, so plenty fresh. abv is decently hidden but the flavor is just not so nice.
L: from the bottle. it's stylish & along the artistic theme of flying dog.
S: fruity but non descript.
T: kind of follows the nose. sweetness and then bitterness. kind of a bubble gum flavor that is not so nice. for me, not really pleasant.
F: smooth, rich, resiny
O: not one for me to seek out. too many really good beers in this style. your mileage may vary

"Enjoy by 09-29-21" into pint glass. Pours a fairly hazy goldden orange with a brief off-white head. No lacing to speak of. Initial impression is surprisingly juicy grapefruit, orange, pine, mango, and caramel. Mouthfeel is sticky and just about perfect for a DIPA. Alcohol is dangerously well hidden - a very easy drinker. Finish is an interesting combination of sweetness fading to a slight bitterness. Overall, a really enjoyable DIPA that'll sneak up you if you're not careful. I'd revisit in a heartbeat.

A richer, deeper, hazy orange amber color. No head. Strong citrus, pine, grapefruit, orange, a little malty like just right, in both aroma and taste. Mouthfeel has a nice bite and just right bitterness. Overall I would buy this beer and have it in my rotation. A 12 ounce bottle dated Enjoy By 09.16.21 Another pleasant surprise from @jzeilinger THANKS FOR SHARING!

Enjoy by 9/29/21. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy golden; small white head that fades quickly leaving okay retention and little to no lacing. The aromas have a nice amount of tropical fruits along with some citrus. Hints of berries and honey. Malts are there. The flavors follow the nose. Some watermelon, peach and apricot leading the way. There's citrus really coming through in the flavor department, especially oranges, tangerines and clementines. Some grapefruit as well. Some fresh grass. Nice hop flavors. The flavors are bittersweet. There's a solid bitterness going on but there's also a sweetness going. Slightly syrupy. Malts do their thing. Finishes very juicy. It drinks somewhat big with a mild warmth in the finish, but it's not hot or boozy at all. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's extremely fluffy.
This is a pretty solid brew. It's a mix between a New England DIPA and a regular DIPA, but it's definitely more on the hazy/New England side, in my opinion. Nice aromas and flavors. I like it and it's probably better than my "numerical score" might indicate.
