BB date 3/20/23, so 5 days past that . Let it sit out, open, for 10 minutes before pouring.
Dark chestnut-brown, with 1/2-finger of quickly-dissipating tan head.
Smell is semi-sweet roasted nuts, a little cola, and roasted maple, as in a maple-glazed ham , & the well-cooked drippings. A bit of pleasant smoke aroma becomes apparent as the head fades, & the beer warms.
Taste is the same as aroma , but less sweet. Finishes with slight bitterness, a little lingering cola, as in the aroma. The smokiness is light, but easily apparent. Almost as if a little rauchbier has been added to a porter.
Feel is smooth, and medium, with slight thinning feel just short of finish. Light, very, very fine carbonation tingle.
Overall , pleasant enough, but not so that I'd want more than one. It's making me wish I had some cheesecake, or a maple-fudge brownie. It delivers exactly what the label says it does, so points for that.

Black with a thin tan head, poor retention, thin rings of lace
Maple is foremost, then a bit of smoke and roast
Maple, smoke and roast in harmony on the palate, a little sweet
Medium-heavy bodied, lower carbonation
I like the savory smokiness with what would otherwise be a dessert beer
