Pours hazy orange amber with a small head that becomes a thin floating island. Small dots of lacing.
The smell is of caramel with some light toast.
The taste is of caramel in the Irish Red style. Light toast. Irish whiskey oak comes through to add a vanilla twist.
Appropriately light-bodied but not thin or watery. Smooth.
An enjoyable Red Ale. The whiskey oak staves give it a pleasant twist while staying within the traditional style.
