Collaboration with Bells Beach Brewing.
Born from a shared love of motorbikes with parallel twin motors, our collaboration brings together the Surf Coast and the Mountains like a Victorian road trip. This luscious Porter is engine oil black, smooth, low on the roast and oozes chocolate & coconut - it's your perfect winter beer companion.

This was purchased in September 2024 at The Brewery in Geelong, Bells Beach Brewing's Geelong taproom. The beer was drunk in January 2025.
L: The beer is a deep ruby colour that reflects brilliant bright brown and clear red highlights where the sun hits the glass. There's a thin mocha-coloured head, but what it lacks in head is more than made up for by the beautiful colour of the beer itself.
S: Coconut-flavoured chocolate, light coffee, and rich caramel notes define the aroma drifting up from the deep glass in which the beer is nestled.
T: The taste is sweet and tangy, with bitter chocolate and coconut dominating. There are touches of raspberry and cola, with those last notes lingering after the swallow. The finish is creamy. Bitterness is mild and expressed through the chocolate note referenced earlier.
M: The beer's body is smooth and silky, with minimal carbonation but a decent carbonic kick on the swallow, which helps balance the sweetness of the taste profile.
O: This is an excellent coconut porter deserving of a revisit in the near future.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
