The evening sun over the South Sea Islands, from Gedser to Guldborg and Albuen in the west, brings the whole day together in one peaceful and intense Stout. Five types of hops, three types of malt. A symphony of all that is good in life.

Copenhagen 3/2 2025. 33 cl bottle from the shop at Falster Bryghus. Red label with a setting sun.
Pours opaque dark brown with a dense beige head. Stable. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of creamy foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma îs medium intense with a sweet, malty, roasted odor mingling with a bit of alcohol and some earthy fumes. Dark roasted malts, toffee and hints of brown sugar. Tobacco and cured leather. Dark alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly this, oily, soft, smooth. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Straight forward but very solid.
