Copenhagen 18/10 2024. 33 cl bottle from Falster Destilleri & Bryghus. Simple tusch drawing of a ship on the blue label.
Pours clear but almost opaque dark Brown with a small off-white head. Stable. Settles as paper thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a strong sweet and malty odor. Light sourish notes. Toasted and singed malts. Caramel and burnt toffee. Whiff of Brown sugar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Pleasant Brown Ale. A bit on the sweet side.
