Look - 473ml can poured into an imperial pint glass. copper in color, clear, with a very large head that mostly dissipates, leaving behind little to moderate lacing.
Smell - all malts with a little bit of caramel and some sweetness. little to no hop presence, and scents are all on the lighter side.
Taste - salted caramel hits upfront, with the saltiness noticable the moment the beer hits the tongue. solid malt backbone to the beer, with a mild bitter aftertaste that goes into the finish.
Feel - medium bodied, above average carbonation, and reasonably strong at 7% ABV. alcohol is very well masked.
Overall - tastes exactly as advertised: a salted caramel wee heavy. the salted caramel flavors are actually spot on and quite tasty, which is not always true of these dessert style beers. i like this one quite a lot.
