3 Locks Brewing Company

I visited 3 Locks a few weeks back while my wife and I were in London. The space is kind of broken up into a couple of railway arches: the brewery/taproom, with a small taproom downstairs and a slightly larger upstairs area with a view on to Regent’s Canal, and (at least) a second arch that looks like an event space. There’s a ton of outdoor seating as well (some of this might be shared with other businesses but it all looked part of the 3 Locks operation to me). Neat, vibrant spot.

There were 9 of their beers on tap (plus cider, wine, and cocktails), with styles including hefeweizen, schwarzbier, chocolate stout, Australian IPA, session IPA, NZ pale ale, lager, hazy IPA, and gose. I wasn’t too impressed with the hazy IPA but the schwarzbier was quite nice; so, overall, mixed quality. The bartender who served me was friendly and helpful with my questions, and overall I liked the vibe of the place.
