Had Madman at The Porter, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on draft into narrow nonic pint.
Pours absolutely black with 1 & 1/2-finger dark tan head, with decent retention, pulling etched lace down the glass. Aromas of sweet milk, a little fruit and mild roast coffee off pour, then a little hop spice and mild chocolate aromas as warms. Begins smooth and nicely creamy, then mild roast malts which carry through a little fruit into a crisp, mild roasted coffee finish.
