Pours a cloudy amber, with a thick light tan head.
The aroma is, of course, of cascade hops, but not as strongly as anticipated. There are citrus notes too, of grapefruit and orange.
The taste is good, with floral and bitter hops, and again a touch of grapefruit. It could use a bit more malt for balance. The mouthfeel is where this beer is most lacking. It seemed thin and insubstantial.
Overall, it was quite a nice beer, and I think I'll seek out a few more of these come summertime, when a light-bodied, hoppy ale will be the perfect antidote to a hot, muggy Japanese summer afternoon.

Hazy amber/orange body with fine head.
Aroma of sicillian blood oranges and dark bread.
Ganja, orange, bitter, one dimensional. Not a lot of malts, this is one dimensional. I do not know why I am tasting ganja. I imagined that the cascade hop flavors would be more pronounced considering the name of the beer, but no.
Way light body, clean and dry. This is a summer beer.

Sampled at Popeye in Tokyo. Named for Hiroyuki Fujiwara, an illustrator known for his "beer mania".

This ale poured a clear amber color with off-white foam that clung to the glass a bit. The smell was a mild floral hop aroma. The taste was slightly tangy with flavors of malt and floral and bitter hops, fairly well balanced. The mouthfeel was smooth, clean, and dry with low carbonation feel, but the body was on the thin side of medium. All in all, though, a good ale and very drinkable.
