Copenhagen 9/2 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Kiuchi Brewery's characteristic big-eyed owl on the label which have a light blue hue.
Pours hazy golden yellow with small white head. Settles as thin puddle of foam floating about. No lacing.
Aroma is pretty classical witbier.Sweetish, lemonadeish, tart citrus and lime, Sweeter oranges, an annoying chemical tang.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery and lively texture.
Flavor is rather sweet followed by more moderate tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweetish ans a tad artificial. Lingers shortly.
Not the greatest witbier.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden amber color with a two finger height head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading over time and leaving a small amount of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavy of a wheat bread smell mixed with strong aromas of spice, being mainly of coriander and clove. Along with these smells comes a bit of orange and lemon, along with a decent showing of banana. Rounding it all out are some notes of white pepper and a touch of hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a grainy wheat bread malt base mixed with some of the coriander and clove that were in the nose. At the same time there is some hay and orange as well as a touch of banana. As the taste advances on the tongue, some yeast and light notes of herb join in, all while the banana fades, giving way to a light lemon citrus, which rounds out the flavor profile and leaves one with a smooth wheaty and moderatly spiced taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is medium with a slightly more prickly carbonation level.
Overall – A rather nice white ale with a easy drinking nature and a rather pleasant profile.

Nice and light with medium carbonation. My wife actually told me to try it.
It's got pleasant notes of orange but not too much going on. I do like it though.

Pours a cloudy yellow, with a soapy white head that settles to a thin ring. Orange blossom on the nose, very mild and completely lacking the usual dark funk of Belgian witbiers. Very refreshing on the tongue, with only a hint of yeast and general biscuity sweetness. Finishes with a clean floral tail, not particularly long-lasting, with a very neutral feel.

Sampling at the Shinagawa brewpub.
Pours a clear light straw color with little head.
Smells some of corn.
Weak mouth feel.
Disappointed since thought this was going to be more a Belgian white beer with spices.
Really just a light lager. vendeur

A: crystal clear; medium gold in color; 1 finger white head that receded quickly to a splotchy cap with a thick, tight collar; a lot of floaters; no lacing;
S: orange zest and orange pith;
T: follows the nose; the orange zest is dominant up front, while the orange peel is dominant at the end; mild to moderate bitterness on the finish;
M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; dry finish;
O: Wasn't expecting the floaters; different than most wits - not as interesting, in my opinion;

Hazy, yellow color. Huge, white head. The aroma of oranges, wheat malt, a hint of spices, and yeasts. Juicy taste, I literally felt orange juice in my mouth. However, it wasn't annoying or overwhelming. Just a perfect balance. Moderate malty sweetness. Crispy, refreshing, thirst-quenching but not watery beer.
