Served as part of a sampler tray at their brewpub. This was light brown in color, and looked almost like a dark amber. Clear body and topped with a rich and creamy tan head. The aroma is pleasant and appealing with a buttery rich and nutty creaminess. The taste is flavorful and has a semi-complex buttery texture to it. The body has a decent amount of malt flavor and texture. Overall, a very tasty example and a nice brown ale.
