Delicate like a dwindling matchstick.
Holy Smokes is a Helles lager with a portion of its malt being smoked. Perle and Northern Brewer hops add a gentle herbal/mint quality to round out this easy drinking smoked lager.

Single 16 ounce can from the brewery in Collingwood, Ontario from mid September (2 1/2 months), where had on tap at the time.
Pours a clear dark golden - a little short of amber - with scant bubbly white head on a reasonably aggressive pour.
Aroma is of smoked malt - smoky but not meaty - gentle but definite; hints of bread with a slightly floral, herbal note.
Sweetly smoky pale malt on the palate, floral notes, with a slightly herbal hop flavour giving a bit of finishing bitterness.
Solid medium mouthfeel pushing towards full with a bit of chewiness; remarkably decent carbonation considering the limited head - lingering smoky bittersweetness.
