Pint pour on draught at the brewery. Served in a cylindrical glass. Its color is dark iced tea-cola with a small, ecru ring around the glass. The nose includes burnt malt, smoky peat, cola, and a whiff of chocolate. The taste largely follows but there is a slight sourness that is unexplained. This ale is moderately bodied and carbonated and the 8% ABV allows for easy drinking. Overall, this is a style I enjoy and I'm glad that Obscura chose to brew it.
