Very dark brown with a reddish dege and not much foam in the pint shaker. Starts out pleasantly sweet with a deep dark roasted malt flavor. But it gets very strong and spicy tasting, more like old cinnamon. I just with La Conner would spring for some better hops. The aftertaste is just plain unpleasantly bitter and dirty. On tap at the brewery restaurant.
