Our deep golden Pale Ale draws its inspiration from England, where both the yeast used and the bittering Pilgrim hops originate. It has a slightly fruity character and is rich in malt sweetness, which is nicely balanced by a dry, hoppy finish.
A beer for those who might like to challenge their taste buds a little without going to excess!
Pale Ale is good with light dishes such as chicken and fish or just as an accompaniment to a good lunch.

Copenhagen 19/1 2019. 50 cl bottle from Sidinge Gårdbutik, Vig. Very pale blue and grey version of Bryghuset No. 5 usual logo.
Pours murky, milky golden yellow with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is sourish with unripe gooseberries and sour green apples. Lighter odor of sweet malts and bread. Metallic alcohol.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is tart and bitter. Lingers for a bit. Dry finish.
A little unbalanced and weak when it comes to the malt base. But nicely bitter and dry with a tart twist.
