Copenhagen 14/1 2019. 50 cl bottle from Sidinge Gårdbutik, Vig. Label looks more like Baking Soda than beer. Seems to be Edition 8 of this slightly strange concept.
Pours murky maroon without almost no foam and no head. Ends up totally without any traces of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet, vinous and with a strong presence of alcohol. Fermented sweet fruit, white sugar, lighter tart and fruity notes - probably the Rhubarb peeking in. Alcoholic odor which reminds me of Sherry of the sweet variety.
No carbonation. Thick, oily, tough texture.
Flavor is very sweet at first and actually kicks in with an even more overwhelming marzipan-like sweetness. Aftertaste is also very sweet with very light tart notes. Lingering.
Does not have much in common with beer. Reminds me more of a very sweet slightly cloying wine. Drinkable if you sip it - very, very slowly.
