Our Schwarzbier is, if not outright black, then an orange-brown beer with a nice beige head. Both the aroma and taste are characterized by gently roasted malts with a hint of vanilla and burnt caramel.
A beer for those of you who may be into pilsners, but who like them both darker and a little more roasted in taste.
Schwarzbier is good for a hearty lunch as well as for roasts.

Copenhagen 8/12 2018. 50 cl bottle from Sidinge Gårdbutik. Black and grey version of the Brewerys usual sunny design on the label.
Pours very dark brown with small off-white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer. No Lacing to speak of.
Aroma is not very intense. Sweetish. Caramel, light roastiness. Light hints of Tobacco and molasses.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, flat texture.
Flavor is quite sweet followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with light bitter undercurrent. Roasted quality. Lingers shortly.
Pleasant enough Schwarzbier. But it could use a little more intensity.
