Our golden Hoppy is a pale ale inspired by the American APAs.
American hops are used in abundance, which can be both tasted and smelled.
Cascade contributes a fine scent of citrus, Amarillo adds a scent of flowers and Colombus gives a slight hit of bitterness on the tongue.
The pronounced bitterness is balanced with a rich malt flavor, so bitterness, body and sweetness come together in a higher unity.

Copenhagen 1/12 2018. 50 cl bottle from Sidinge Gårdbutik which have a small selection of local beers. Bryghuset No5 usual design in purple.
Pours hazy amber with medium-sized head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma has strong malty sweetness, hints of exotic fruit like peach, pear and mango. Light citric touch of Lime and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily texture.
Flavor is fairly sweet balanced by a prominent bitterness. Aftertaste is more sweet than bitter. Lingers for a while.
Quite sweet for a beer named Hoppy. But with a decent kick.
