A beer with a little bit of color from the sweet caramel malts.
Our Brown Ale is soft and round. Notes of licorice and hazelnuts.

Svendborg 22/7 2021. 50 cl bottle from Svendborgsund Bryghus. Svendborgsund’s usual simple, austere label design with a simple white label with a thin colored stripe in brown.
Pours unclear dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, nutty and toasted scent. Brown sugar, hazelnut, toasted malts. A whiff of milk chocolate and licorice.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and lingers for a while. Finish is sweetish and a tad dry.
Decent Brown Ale with a slightly distracting licorice tang.
